Department of Applied Acting :

The acting curriculum prepares students for film, television, theatre and voice-over works. Through lectures, workshops, extensive scene study, improvisation, monologous plays and work on students' film projects, the actors master an impressive array of skills. They learn to breakdown scripts, develop characters and express interpretative choices while maintaining physical and emotional continuity. From basic acting techniques, movement, dance, fight and stunt work to diction and dialect, students emerge from the course fully trained to perform for the range of acting opportunities available to present days artists. Students hone their craft towards excellence, readying themselves for the rigorous demands of a competitive industry. Be it for dramatic or stage works or multiple camera setup television, feature film or dubbing our actors will be trained to approach their craft with honesty, intensity and sensitivity. The Two years full time Diploma course in Applied Acting (Film &TV) incorporates lectures, individual consultations and practical classes so that the students are able to use the source of knowledge themselves and develop their own emotional and creative engagement and above all their own artistic personality.
