Government Of Assam Department of Cultural Affairs Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Regional Government Film & Television Institute

Library is the face of the institute. Though Dr. BhupenHazarika Regional Government Film and Television Institutehasa small library at present but it is quite rich in qualitative collection of books.  It has nearly a thousand books in English, Hindi, Bengali & Assamese languages on various subjects like Audiograpgy and Sound Engineering, Film and Video Editing, Cinematography, Video & Still Photography, Acting, Theatre, Film direction, Music, light & literature etc. Apart from those books DBHRGFTI library has around400 Nos. of films in DVD and CD format covering a wide range of World Classics, Indian Classics, Hollywood& Bollywood Commercials, Bengali, Assamese, Iranian, Korean, Japanese, Latin American and other films. DBHRGFTI also provides E-Library facilities to its students in the library premises.

Best of the faculties from the local film industry, stage and National School of Drama impart their expertise in teaching acting in the department.
